NDMTSS Team Roles/Responsibilities

The NDMTSS leadership team collaborates with REA liaisons to support school teams to increase knowledge, understanding, and implementation of building and enhancing their NDMTSS system.

  • Organize, facilitate and participate in all academic and behavior trainings and coaching calls
  • Coordinate information and materials relevant to each specific training
  • Be available for all questions via email/phone to provide technical assistance and support during implementation and sustainability
  • Communicate with presenters and participants sharing all relevant information
  • Elicit feedback to enhance trainings while supporting the needs of all teams
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with REA liaisons to support the needs of all teams

Liaison Roles/Responsibilities

REA Liaisons, in collaboration with the NDMTSS leadership team, support school/district teams to increase knowledge, understanding, and implementation of building and enhancing their NDMTSS system.

  • Attend trainings and coaching calls as needed, working with teams specific to their REA
  • Provide school/district guidance and assistance to integrate new and existing initiatives
  • Support school/district development of MTSS implementation plan and monitor sustainability
  • Assist with technical assistance and barrier busting
  • Collaborate with the NDMTSS leadership team to provide supporting documents, examples, tools, and materials to help facilitate implementation and sustainability
  • Engage in MTSS site visits
  • Facilitate Self Assessment of NDMTSS (SAND)
